Still looking for the right deal on this exchange idea - cash top up is based half of the price difference between my gear and yours at AbelCine... and a good 100mm head and carbon legs is what I'm wanting to switch out my O'Connor 2060HD head and tall and baby heavy duty Ronford Baker 150mm sticks, along with hihat, for - O'Connor or Sachtler would be perfect. eMail me at chris@clai.tv!
We are moving out of our RED systems, and so don't need the sheer stability of our 150mm bowl support systems any more... so I'm looking to exchange our simply amazing O'Connor 150mm bowl 2060HD fluid head, complete with Ronford-Baker single stage long and baby legs and spreaders, and 150mm bowl Abelcine HiHat for a lighter but equally smooth and wonderful 100mm bowl system - I'm thinking in terms of an O'Connor 1030D, Sachtler 15D or the like, with a set of carbon sticks and case.
The 2060HD is about two years old, carries around 65lbs and is extraordinarily smooth and accurate regardless of whether it has had our fully loaded Dragon on it or a GH4... just a great design. The legs are around 10 years old, and not quite as pretty, but built like nothing else to work as securely fully up or all the way down.
Of course, with the 2060HD weighing in at around $12,500, and Ronford-Baker legs at $1,800 a set - plus the spreader cost - this isn't going to be an equal trade... but it is a great opportunity for someone working with mid weight cameras to move up to studio and fully configured location support and not have to start from scratch. So please do let me know what you have to deal and what you are thinking about in terms of cash difference and let's see if we can make it work!
Email me at Chris@CLAi.tvNB. Legs are heavy duty tall and short with spreaders, head is 2060HD.
