I'm pretty angry! After the first week of production I was raised in my status as Steadicam-ops to second DoP on this project because - well, they were'nt getting anything done:). I got my credits on IMDB for this but wow, now the film is in the cinemas in Germany and I'm not in the press release or credits as DoP. This business sometimes sucks big!

Anyway, great story and actors - go and watch it! All Red one/MX and Leica R lens!

Happens all the time. I once DP'd on a multiple part series; they forgot to credit me at all, only in the very last episode.

Yeah, but here we were two DPs and now one is taking all the credit - and the film is getting great review on the cinematography.....arrgg.....think I need a drink:)

Brian,

make sure to contact the producers to have your credit corrected for the DVD/TV release. It may be too late for the DCP/film master but they should still have time to correct the 1080p HDCAM master.

best.

Trailer Looks Awesome! Great Work.

At least with IMDB credit you have your reference and that is were everyone goes to validate and research. If I see a movie I like and want to know who shot it, I don't wait for the credit roll, I use my cell and look it up. So, you won't lose a job because of it, but I certainly understand how upsetting that can be.

true but IMDB is not the paragon of truth it used to be. Many many false credits out there. Plus it's nice to be credited on the show itself since many in the industry screen the work via netflix instant watch.
