  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC-X STAGE 3 and 3.5 Now Begins...

Did anyone receive a notification email from RED asking to send in the camera for evaluation?

I hope RED will start soon...
 
I just spoke to Red Europe, as I was keen to get mine sorted this side of Christmas, but apparently Red have yet to decide upon how the cameras are to be returned (Presumably for non-US customers regarding shipping, taxes etc...). He said that Stage 3 hadn't actually begun yet. Only the deposit taking part of the process which was December 1st. I think we'll probably be lucky to see any large amounts of Stage 3 cameras delivered in 2011, if any at all this close to Christmas.

I'd certainly appreciate a more definite answer on all of this though.

yep same here, received a notification that my deposit was received but as for a delivery date, they told me that stage 3 hasnt started yet and that they are still dealing with stage 2 deliveries. its gonna be a little while i assume :/
 
Paul / Dominik - this doesn't bode well for Stage 4 opening before year end and the price increase. At this rate, an EPIC-M might be looking more of an option if its only going to be a few $$$ more...

Stage 4 opened..congratulations Stage 4 buyers. How bout some great Christmas news for us Stage 3 guys...please, anxiously awaiting for good news for us. Sorry someone had to post this...Show us some love also for Christmas guys....
 
Are we still on track for "shipping in early December"?

Has anyone sent their Red in for trade yet?

Just curious...trying to make some plans for the next few months.

Red has made many miracles unfortunately shipping early December isn't going to happen as planned. Let's just hope stage 3 will ship soon because it's not looking good.
 
Brent just posted in the Stage 4 now open for reservations thread that they haven't finalized how they will proceed yet.
 
I think the scheduled end of the world is December 21, 2012. So you have a little bit of time. I think. :)
