  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC-X STAGE 3 and 3.5 Now Begins...

I think RED needs some time maybe about 2 weeks to organize Stage 3/3,5 and when first Epic of Stage 3 will ship then Stage 4 begins.
Maybe end of December.

Agreed, I'm pretty sure end December will be Stage 4, be crazy for them to take on even more orders now when trying to sort out the logistics of Stage 3/3.5 and get Scarlet orders completed plus the backorders...
 
Stage 4 is a few weeks away still... We still are catching up with the previous stages.

Don't worry.. will be before the end of the month :)

Great news Jarred. Thanks for clearing that up. Gives me time to put a little more away. Great that we can still order before the price increase. Really appreciate it.

Stage 2 first completed fully then Stage 3?

Stage 2 first completed fully then Stage 3?

I thought that ALL Stage 2 had to be delivered before Stage 3 notices for return of camera and then shipments will even begin, at least that's how I have read the way things will be. I wonder if Stage 2 folks that haven't paid and are dragging their feet till last min and last day, maybe they don't have the money, trying to get it together, will hold up Stage 3 camera returns and then shipments. Looking forward to getting EPIC X in my hands.

So if we have full payment in our account, given all is well when we return RED One for evaluation and tests out ok and needs no repairs, will having the money there and credit card authorization form with an ok to process if needed, speed things up for us. If that's the case, then I will just go ahead and allow the money into my acct via the credit card authorization form.

Stages do not advance until all customers in those stages are notified.. we don't wait till everyone in those stages ship. Obviously with Stage 3 and the inspections involved, that would delay stage 4 commencement for quite some time.

Are Epic X's still rolling out the door? haven't heard much action about that lately.

Very understandable. Is there an ETA on when all Stage 2 customers will be notified? Or has that already completed?

I don't think anyone in Stage II are dragging their feet. I was notified that my wire transfer went through on the 14th of last month. I now have a tracking number, but it's been listed as 'initiated', not 'picked up' for the last 3 days. The last 17 days have been far harder for me to endure than the entire 18 months since I put my deposit down!

I think things have just slowed a bit with what I assume are an incredible amount of logistics for the team to wade through. As I posted in another thread, I'm so glad that I'm not a bomb squad rep! I do not envy them at all right now, and I think it's still going to get worse for them, before it gets better.

Patience is hard, though.
 
Holiday weekend set us back a little on shipments, for sure. We are eating through the backlog - and EPIC-Xs are most definitely going out the door :)

Its a good thing I just happened to log on and see Dec. 1st was the cut off date for stage 3!! I was just patiently waiting for my email from Red but never got it! The issue was some how a glitch that showed we were only eligible for a stage 4 because it only had us recently purchasing the Reds do to the MX update when we have had the cameras since 08!!
 
Can't wait to see how this Stage 3 and 3,5 will progress.
It's pretty much of a job involved here... inspection, authorization, repair, etc... hope everything will rock on as for the MX upgrade
 
Hi is the chance to join stage 3 or 3.5 over ? i can't find the Epic X in my red store?
