Congratulations on getting the EPIC X's rolling....got the Canon mount ordered early as soon as the mount was up in the store. After shooting with EPIC M I can't wait to get my hands on my own camera. Checking my email for stage 3 reservations...will we hear something AFTER Stage 2 has been delivered or a bit before. Thank you...so excited..the day is finally here..can't wait till Stage 2 ships and we hear the excitement from all Stage 2 RED owners.

ooooo... that's a terribly unfortunate comparison, Jim. How about Ferrari to Porsche? Its still a bitchin' box and not a commoditized hunk of junk. Please append. An Epic is an Epic - a truly marvelous forward thinking piece of engineering, ultra modern design, and egalitarian vision - nothing at all like what comes off of the Ford assembly lines. I would think of the 5D as a Ford: You might get there, but the guy in the Porsche driving by your Fiesta is only ever going to know your face through his rear view mirror - and even then - only for a moment.
