We experienced a weird phenomenon while "filming" with our Epic-W that was on a Ronin 2. The camera freezes every now and then. It happens randomly. What we found was; if you were to record an extended clip (say........ over a minute and a half kinda....) and if you use a control cable to trigger recording, the camera would freeze. Again, it may happen once in tree or four takes in a random fashion.

Only way to recover from this is to reboot the camera and that is a pain in the butt!

Could someone from RED comment on this please?

I've been having a similar issue with two Helium Weapons. One using a Micro Force Control connected to a Wooden Camera Distribution Box (3-pin fisher) and the other using a Preston MDR, connected also to WC D box, 3-pin fisher.
Two different cameras and two different D Boxes.......BTW, I lost the last clip when this occurred. I did save the log and I'll open a support ticket today and see if anything can be learned from it.
