Here's a quick idea of what you can do with the Stealth plate using a little part that should be surfacing in the next few weeks. Nice and low profile... and gets the controls off the back of the body! Handy for somebody that doesn't want to put the REDmote in a bag or front box but likes to have a place to put it when there are accessories on the back of the camera.

Speaking of the back of the camera... stay tuned for some freakin' cool stuff - all of which works with RED's own accessories.

Nice Brook, but how do you power the camera up?

The same way you keep the REDmote charged now... charge it on the camera or remotely using a USB cable.

I have some other ideas too... but we shall see.

They're still coming, don't worry. Prototyping different ways of attaching it to the top plate as well as different lengths to judge acceptable flex versus acceptable weight as well as difficulty of machining [which is price].

Yes, I have a series of battery plates all drawn up and prototyping has been underway for a bit. I am a bit reluctant to post renders until I'm very close to shipping as doing so in the past has tipped our hand to others. :) Stay tuned... it's exactly what a lot of people have been asking for.

Hey Brook. Did you find out if adding PAG plate screw holes was a viable addition?

Thanks.
Eric
