EPIC STAGE Clarification and update

I am interested in the Scarlet 12% discount.How to apply for it ?Do you know How by any chance?

I purchased my RED 2 months ago aproximately.
 
BTW, Red's website now has no mention anywhere, that I can see, of FF35, 645 or 617, except for at red.com/press. No mention even there of the 645, though.

Same here - waiting for news on the 6XX's too.
Any mentioning would be cool.

I wired funds for stage 2 but it doesn´t show up in my Red account now.
What happens if it arrives after June 1, but was sent in May?
I´m a bit worried, because I can´t reach anybody at RDC and after the holidays June 1. is past.

You should be good if you wired the money in time. The money for the Stage-2 deposit does not show in your RED account. I'm thinking they hold it separately so you don't end up using for other things.

You should get a confirmation of payment received with an email receipt for Stage-2. Based on a higher number of comments about just paying, it seems like RED is probably getting flooded with incoming Stage-2 payments just before the deadline. It may take them a few days to get sorted, especially with the holiday.

Same here we transferred the money on the 27th. Hope this is the date that counts. Maybe they will appear in the red account by the 1st but if not? You guys should check the wire date. I have also sent an email to red orders but got no reply yet.

Dont worry guys... we will be accommodating to all you guys that send wires in, i know they can be a bit of a pain in the ass. Since this is just a reservation, If you did send the wire in before the 1st and a day or two delay on the bank side happens, you will be fine :)

I'm a little confused and am having a hard time getting an straight answer. I'm not a current red owner but would like to purchase an epic. What is the fastest way to make that happen? I'm ready to get the camera asap.

First there are no production Epics yet - several (undetermined) months away.
There will be a significant wait even then for new customers because you won't be able to buy one until all of the RED1 owners that have decided to upgrade (something like 6000 are eligible?) have gotten their Epic-Xs.

Fastest way will be to buy one from a Redone upgrader willing to sell.
As an alternative, I am also offering prepaid rental time reservations on an early Epic where it will be available just two weeks or so after my batch (maybe the first since I am SN206) ships. Check out this thread in the Equipment for hire section:

I was late getting all the funds for the deposit... now I have it all.. would it be safest to pay by credit card now or to wait until the first and wire? Are credit card payments counted for the date the payment was made or when it clears?

As a reminder, it is a holiday weekend in the US this weekend so if you are getting delayed responses, that is the reason why. We will get everything sorted when we are all back in the office on Tuesday.

One way I have done it when I needed to wire money but my rep wasn't available is this:

Place an order in the store for an item and choose the wire payment option. This will email you up-to-date wire information so you know it will go to the correct account. If you decide you don't want the item you ordered, just go to your My_account and delete the item from your "Open Orders" page. Don't forget to click "Save Changes" after deleting the item.

You probably need to send that wire today....
