  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC stage 3...list

The day has come.... I now own an Epic camera.
So please change the number to one more owners.
Thanks for the chart.
It was because of the list that I was able to figure out when I should be getting my camera.

Wow, I can't believe it happened to me! I'd like to thank the Academy, The Red Team, all the helpful people at Reduser, um, I'm so surprised, I didn't prepare anything to say! Theben and Antonio for the amazingly well maintained chart so we can occasionally check in with reality. My family, my girlfriend who's given up hours of personal time together to enable me to persue my dreams... The people on Reduser who had the courage to speak their frustration in the dark hours when it felt like years of unmet promises would never be realized, the others on Reduser who had the wherewithal to remind us that we all go through these phases of euphoria and despair, encouraging us to keep breathing and treading water, as the day will indeed arrive for those who keep the torch lit.

Buying a Red camera is like any other creative process. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Thank you.

Finally have my LCD and the X is up and running. So very very happy right now. One quick question for my Stage 3 buddies - what firmware did your camera arrive with? My X arrive just last week with Build v1.7.0. Had a little problem with BlackShading and Upgrading to the current release build and the Red team seemed puzzled as to why my camera had that old build on it. All is well now thanks to my rep and the support team - those guys are great there. So this is more or less just a curiosity thing.

I received my final invoice notification for my Epic 2-20-2012 and after deciding on some extra accessories wired the $$ to RED today, 2-23-2012.

Received trade-in notification email today, shipped R1 today. #5432 was originally shipped on November 19, 2008. Thanks Antonio and Theban, I was able to predict my call date - TO THE DAY - because of this thread/chart. I even knew to put an extra rental epic on hold for the next two weeks because of your hard work and dedication. Big ups and maximum respect.
 
received email today. 4692 is shipped for delivery to RED tomorrow morning. I'm with Thomas, thanks for updating this thread. Not only did it help to predict the timing of the email, but it's a great help to see the average turn around time. Thanks.

I'm kinda missing the R1. My camera was a solid workhorse.
 
I got my e-mail today too, for Red One 5398, which shipped mid-November 2008. I won't be able to ship mine in for a day or two, which I suppose will speed things up a little for somebody else!

Can't wait!
