Thats pretty good. I dropped mine off on January 27th. Still waiting for my invoice to go though.

I would like to insure my EPICX before shipment via FEDEX. Has anyone done this and will RED give the serial number before they ship it out so that it can be insured before delivery.

Good question. I would think that RED has something set up to cover what they ship already, but thats just a guess....

As far as shipping is concerned isn't the process similar to the red one MX process as for taxes and duties. You are receiving a camera upgrade. Didn't you turn in your M sensor and receive a MX sensor? Since we didn't MX our Red I don't have a clear idea how that process worked out.

Anyone with any thoughts on this? I'm in Canada.

Yes... only thing missing was the redmote. I also have a canon mount and side handle on back order since late Nov. Hopefully these will be coming through soon.

Epic-X #1884 arrived this morning! Shipment included touchscreen, but no redmote, quad module, nor module adapter.

R1 #348 was received in Irvine on Friday, inspected on Monday and this morning, Tuesday, I got word on the tab for repairs: $130 for an internal wire, including labor, which I accepted. I have been passed back from my trade-in rep to my bomb squad rep to move forward with the Epic. Looking forward to hearing from my BS rep, Dan Baum!

I ordered a side handle on November 4th and haven't heard any news yet. I expect my Epic-X delivery to go forward this week or next, so hope I get word soon, too.

Got my evaluation results just now, no repairs needed, camera was in pristine condition, it worked flawlessly for me at all time while I had #3002, My camera arrived at RED Hqtrs. on Monday morning before 10:30 am via FEDEX, and got the email today Wed. before noon. So they are going through the returned cameras at a quick pace.

If RED offers these up for sale in the future, RED 3002 was a great camera and someone will be very lucky to get this serial number and I never had a days problem with it..it served me well.

Bring it on, so excited I can't wait to get the camera and begin shooting with the EPICX.

I just got my Eval results as well. Internal blower cable replaced. $330 not to bad.

Added the DSMC AC adapter, and RED Brick cable adapter to my order, in process and will ship 7-10 days...done deal, paid in full..touch screen included,, red volts, charger included in shipment but my REMOTE, pro module is on BO. Excited as can be to finally get this on the way.
