  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC stage 3...list

Is anyone reluctant to send a working red one back in exchange for an epic thats not complete because parts are on back order and wont ship ready to shoot? Or are the Epic stage 3 shipped ready to shoot?
 
How are you guys getting the e-mails before us. #3033. Feb 2008. Must be an e-mail error going round?

BTW, grats, awesome you are starting the shipping process.

I'll second that. I'm #3203 and haven't received an email for shipping yet. What gives?

Of course, I was! But what can you do when your number comes up? I held off returning R1 #348 for almost three weeks because of an impending assignment this past week. But, as soon as the gig was over, we packed up the R1 and it should be arriving at RED today. If I had gone ahead with the Epic as soon as I could have, I almost certainly would have been caught with my pants down for this week's shoot with regard to accessories. But I didn't want to hold off any longer than a month and get pushed to into the next Stage 3 flight of cameras, so my fingers are crossed that, by the time the R1 is checked out and the Epic-X is ready to ship, we will at least have a touch LCD ready to ship with the Epic-X. I ordered a DSMC Side Handle on November 4, so, hopefully, that will see the light of day soon. If it doesn't, then, for the time being, we will be limited to being tethered to an AC cord, since the quad redvolt module has yet to ship. Given shipping status of other third-party and RED power options are back ordered, I think the only other option at present is a 2B-to-1B power cord attached to our RED Cradle to make use of our RED and other third-party bricks.

Aren't you sure is not delivery in Feb 2009? Or maybe you ordered the cam in Feb 2008 but got deliver of the camera in Nov or December 2008. It goes by delivery times, not by order times. There are a lot of people that when their number came up, they took some time to pay the camera and take delivery of it.

Otherwise how could you get the #3033 on Feb 2008?. My number was #2894 and I had my camera paid in full by June'08 so by the time my number was up I got delivery right away without any delay in September 2008.

It doesn't make sense to me either that you could have got your camera delivered in February 2008, having a number in the 3 thousands. I ordered my camera I believe in January 2008, and I there is no way a 3000 Red was delivered in Feb 2008, as I remember they were shipping in January 2008 I believe the 500 number or much less.
 
Epic has arrived in Titletown. No LCD, Side Handle or remote, so no way to operate camera, but hopefully one of them will ship soon. Can't wait to get out and shoot with it.
 
Epic #1923 (easy to remember, it's the year Calvin Coolidge became president), has arrived in Atlanta!

No LCD yet, but hopefully soon.
 
Epic-X 1616 just arrived home...!!! Now, let's go to shoot...
 
Paid my final tab and now waiting for our Epic to arrive.

Just wanted to give a quick update on my post above. Not one hour after my Epic arrived in GB, did I get an email that my LCD is ready to ship. So happy I don't know what to do with myself, only days away from finally getting my X out in the world!! Thank you Red.

Currently the notifications are up to:

OCTOBER 2008.

It's confirmed. RED is sending notifications based on SHIPPING DATE (When you got the camera). Checking the list this makes sense. Those that got their camera's in November 08 and December 08 can expect your e-mail soon. Also note. Red will only send e-mails to your primary contact address. They are not sending these notifications additional contacts.

CORRECTION TO SHIPPING DATE.

Camera #3033 Will Keir was shipped 12/19/08 not 2/11/08 as previously listed.
