  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC stage 3...list

Yes, this really helps us have some kind of handle on when we are close to being ready. It's going to be a process but hopefully things will move swiftly and everyone will use FEDEX overnight to get cameras back fast. Of course cameras won't go out till Monday now unless FEDEX Sat. pickup and shipment is done.

What are the invoice dates going out. Have invoice date 2/15/2008 and nothing yet.

if possible please include your original Red One ship date when you reply with your epic x email notification
 
The original red one delivery date when you get email notification will help others see how we are doing. Nothing can be shipped back to Red today as its Martin Luther King holiday.
I am wondering if anyone got their camera out via FedEx on Sat.
 
Does anyone have an idea about how much it costs to ship a Red One body back to California from Europe Fedex?
Just wondering if there's a lot of customs bureaucracy involved if it's a camera originally bought in the US, or if I should just carry it
back myself.

Well, it is not just the shipping cost. Check out the insurance cost, too! Red is clear about this on the Stage 3 e-mail we received: they spell out that it is our responsibility, and if it is damaged during shipping, it will affect the valuation of the camera.

In my case, I am really evaluating purchasing a ticket to fly to CA, and hand deliver the camera to Red (I live in Orlando, FL). I am seriously balancing this, since if it even is a bit higher, the value to go to Red and meet my fiends since I have known only via phone, e-mail or PM.
 
Yeah, you got yours after I got mine in Feb 2008. This confirms further, RED is sending e-mails based on your serial #. Grats bro
