There are other reasons to request the Release version... for example, I cannot rent out the camera with the +1 Module adaptor I´m about to receive, as it only works with Beta versions right now...

Just got the email and installed the release version 4.0.10.

Anyone else tried it? Maybe I'm missing something, but the vertical monitor flip doesn't seem to be working the way I thought it would. It's the same mirrored video feed as the last beta build...It's upside down, but mirrored.

I'm not able to get the touch controls to work on the 5" LCD when it's attached to the +1 Adaptor with the 4.0.10 build. Anyone else?

You need to set the monitor up in the Monitor Control dialog. It sounds like you want it to be in Menu mode and on top of the priority list (to make it the control surface)

I'm not sure how the release notes could be more clear. They clearly state that the monitor only has Vertical Flip while the UI has Vertical Flip and Horizontal Mirror (this matches the checkboxes in the UI).

i understand people also want to be able to Horizontally Mirror the video but as we have stated before this is not ready yet.

Thank you, Trent. I was missing that I needed to set the Rear LCD to the highest priority to make the menu active. I don't recall having to do that in the last build.

I would like the EVF to mirror the Touch LCD so that I can look at either display while making menu selections with the side handle.

Unfortunately, you can't have the EVF mirror the Touch LCD UI. You can only mirror another display if they have matching screen resolutions.

The UI can be mirrored between displays that have the same resolution. That is, if you have the UI on the HDMI at 1080p you can mirror it on HD-SDI if it is also set to 1080p. You will see a MODE option "Mirror XXXX" in monitor control dialog for a monitor if there is an appropriate source to mirror. You can mirror a 5" LCD with another 5" LCD or a 9" LCD with another 9" LCD. However, since they are different resolutions you cannot mirror a 5" LCD on a 9" LCD or HDMI/HD-SDI or EVF.

That is exactly what it does now, it flips both ways, which is what you can also call a 180 degree rotation, and you find the left part of you image on the right, and vice-versa, abolutely unusable for framing!!!
I don't get it. What use is that?
