  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Agreed. PC vs Apple is really, **REALLY** old. So let's not even go there. I'm just making the point that RED's philosophy of making obsolescence obsolete is appealing to me for a reason. And RED's promise to stay pro. Apple didn't deliver on both for me.

hi, is it possible to use hdmi(no sdi)-lcd for cameras like epic-s???
 
which is the best ND filter for epic camera to be used on a summer mid day- ND .9, 1.2, 1.5 ,1.8, 2.1, Hot mirror IR ?????
 
i think you have asked your ND question a couple times. From my experience on the EPIC, bright sunny day. You will need a ND 1.8 or a 2.1 to shoot at t1.8 with the camera rated at 800 ISO.

Yeah, this thread should get locked; every time I see it bumped my breathing gets a little faster and a little shallow.
 
with heavy ND you should ideally use a Hot mirror type once you get in the 1.8 or 2.1 range. Under that i haven't used Hot Mirrors and i haven't had a problem on my Epic.

haha yeah cause you spent fours times as much. I would have bought three-four new PC computers and you'll still use your "four year old" crappy mac with the same amount of money, whatever dude. although I bought a 2007 Intel for $3k sold it three years later for a grand, never happens with a PC. haha

sorry can't help myself I don't know why all you mac guys are so scared of PC and vice versa, just wait until Windows 8... I use both just to be happy and laughing at everyone ;)

You know, everyone says Apple fanboys are the worst... but I see it the other way around. PC fanboys are beyond reasonable. Their logic is just fubar. Please people... put it to rest!
