No more flying Epics or Scarlets by the look of things:

4.4 pound limit....
Yeah,
A friend just sent me this article. The good news is that they are not making a sweeping ban on commercial. It looks like they will control it and I am happy that there will be some requirements. As a pilot, I welcome the safety concerns. The weight limit may be something that can be worked out on a permitted project at a time basis hopefully.
While I don't like too much government intervention, it only makes some sense to have accredited operators from a safety viewpoint.
My first unit is small enough and light enough to be under the 4.4 limit and still carry a GoPro. It is intended to be my "trainer" until I can fly my soon-to-be-shipped EPIC. Maybe by then the legislation will be sorted. Or maybe not, but, at least there seems to be some move to something other than only the gubba'mint being able to do this.
I want one. Most of the good footage is high speed acrobatics. I'd like to see with all the new stabilization, what kind of subtle moves you can do.
The setup includes the optocopter with stabilized head an epic x with canon mount and lenses, an operator and a pilot.
The basic price is about 3000 € a day (e.g. one day commercial shot), but please contact

Thank you.
