Epic Nikon mount status?

With the Canon mount being so far in back order (at this point I don't expect to get ours until at least February) is there any chance that the Electronic Nikon mount may be ready before then? I just want an electronic mount for some of our photography project with the Epic....I don't care if it's Nikon or Canon as we have plenty of lenses in both brands....At this point I will take which ever one is available to ship first. This back order stuff is just killing us! :embarassed:

Optitek has a dumb Nikon mount available. You need to email Jacek directly. I believe Tom Jordan is also a dealer.

There is also a dumb mount for Nikon made by Cinemodz that is $475 and available now. It's still waiting on RED approval and also does not have an iris adjustment. You pay for what you get.

Been shooting with the Optitek Mount for a couple of weeks now.
Nice product, lenses dont move at all. Iris adjust works perfect- you can rotate the iris control to your prefered position.

My Nikon mount arrived today, ahead of schedule. Thank you Jacek. I am not only impressed with your delivery schedule, but the craftsmanship is impressive.
The prolock feature takes an otherwise somewhat flimsy mount and really makes it solid. Jacek also added F-Stop marks on an easy to reach ring for DX lenses.
