G'day all,
I thought to share some screen grabs from a recent project ~ music video for a music group in Germany. The music has the summer vibe and the video that I directed and filmed with the intention of something innocent, magical, romantic and a little dreamy. Therefore, my choices – although not a simple set up to use – were the Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 as the taking lens (m39 mount converted to m42, then to EF – not really recommended double converting ~ as I couldn't focus to infinity although shooting stopped down kind of helped mitigate this issue in the dodgy way); then the Sankor 16C with a frankenclamp to hold it together over a few step-up rings; then connected to the Epic MX shooting with the 5K 2x Anamorphic desqueeze mode, which was really fun to do. I shot everything in 48fps on a 24fps timeline.
Enough gibberish, here are some screen-grabs:
- you can see that the anamorphic lens went a bit wonky here
Cheers! And happy start to the warm season in the North-Hemis !
