What is everyone doing for their custom cut pelican if they have an Epic-M with Brook's top plate and a bottom plate? My Epic fits with both on, but it makes the top bulge up a bit, and I don't want that. Is there a way to get around this? I'd like brook's plate and the epic quick release plate to live on the camera inside of my pelican, without compromising the case's integrity.

I really don't want to take a knife to that nice foam :(

I like the original RED Brand case, for Epic-M once you need to build most of the accessories on the body,
then may need to customer make another case to suit it, I wish JIM & RED TEAM may thinking about to make a bigger New Red Brand case For Epic-M...

I'd really like to know if there's a service out there where you can get that high quality dense foam laser cut. What kind of foam is in that Epic-M case?

I have a camera case being built right now at A&J cases for my body and accessories. I'll post pictures [and design numbers] when it's ready if people are interested in purchasing it for themselves.

The foam in the Epic M case is a nice, dense anti-static foam. I've not seen the exact foam from any of my usual case companies... but I've seen something quite similar. A&J cases is making me a few media cases as well which are made of that similar dense foam.

Yes, laser-cut foam inserts are a different kind of foam. I order custom inserts from Case Club in Orange County. I email them designs with measurements and they ship me the inserts with only a couple of days turnaround time. They offer different densities of foam ranging from pillowy to "pool-noodle" dense.

The case is greet for travel on a plane, and I think that's the only thing it's good for.. It's carry on size, so no getting lost with the rest of your gear..
