Epic-M available for rent

Although I'll mostly use my Epic-M for personal projects, I do occasionally rent out my gear. At this point in time there aren't enough Epics to go around, plus the camera needs be used in a variety of situations in order to help Red get the feedback they need to iron out any firmware issues.

Describe your project and dates in email and then we'll talk. Rates will depend on a variety of factors.

I expect the camera to be busy in these early days of Epic. I'll be selective in what projects I choose. Be aware that *all* current firmware versions should be considered beta. Unless it's going onto an existing Epic production (where the camera limitations and beta status are well understood), the camera will go out with myself or a colleague as DIT.

Being one of the only 4 private owners that we know about, I'm sure it's going to go on some interesting projects. Have you picked up the New RED shoulder rig?

Brook, I assume you mean the new Red hand-held rig isn't available? Cause my camera is!

I got to see the shoulder rig visiting Ketch's shoot today. It's nice. To answer your question, Vlad, I'm not sure if I'm going to get it -- I don't do a ton of hand held. Or I didn't with that beast of a Red One. But with Epic, maybe that'll change.

Also, there were three Epic-Ms at the shoot today. I was under the impression that if you got three or more Epics in the same room that Spiderman would show up. No such luck.

Heheh, sorry for the confusion John!

If you want Spider-Man to show up you have to have 3 3D rigs in the room. So six Epics. Then he appears. It's like magic.
