  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Epic M and X Data Sheet

Phil, Tonight was the second time we've referenced your data sheets to make quick work of a problem, while on a shoot. Just dropping a note here to say thanks for posting and curating these. Very helpful.

This is so awesome!! I wish I had this months ago.. RED should send this out as a must have..

thank you so much for putting this together!!!

apologies in advance if silly- but I'm seeing screenshots and talk of a 5KFF setting the Epic, just got mine this week and its not showing a "FF" setting. Is is just 5K now (did they take off the FF sub heading?)

On the older builds and I think the current MX build the FF formats are just designated by their base resolutions, so 5K. Nothing to freak out about.

thank you sir- more basic questions to follow I'm sure. (currently on page xx of the never-ending pdf walkthrough of operations)- its making me feel at points that I've never touched a camera before :)

Is the chart still accurate for frame rates with the latest firmware?

Chart says 4K 121fps but on RED.com specs it says 150fps...

I'll look into that Robino. I am no longer an Epic or Scarlet owner and have moved to Dragon. Next time I'm in front of one I'll see if anything has changed.

I have updated this thread with Neutral Density and IR Contamination Notes with a helpful graphic to illustrate the effect.

Thanks for the filter update!

Hey there,
Noticed the links were down on pg. 1
Would love to still have these as a reference. Thanks for all the hard work you've put into them.

Anytime Ian. They are all online. I've noticed a whole bunch of new Mysterium-X shooters recently. Should be available as long as I'm alive :)

I'm one of those dudes. This was great, thanks Phil much appreciated.
