  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

And he is looking through what? I've always been concerned by poor ergonomics for hand held use. Regardless of how great the camera is in other areas, the system is just not very comfortable to hold.

They sure can. Kind of the reason why I've been looking at some new "L" glass to add to my collection.
 
A bolt-on optical "sports finder" would be useful for some applications too.

Think Hassy style shooting. Larger physical camera but still comfortable enough to work with. And in all honesty its not going to be an ENG stills camera so the ergnomics I think are more trending towards some of the best MF stills cameras of the past. Thats what I see anyway.

Yes, but then again quite a bit bigger and badder motion streams at 5K up to 100fps. Not all too shabby...at all. Not saying that you are doing it, 'cause I don't think you are...however it would be crazy to have people complaining about the size/weight of this bad boy (or girl). :thumbsup:

Just wanted to give yet an other -more than well deserved- shout out, to the team that refuses to compromise. Once you thought they had something perfect ready for prime time, they say no, and use the time left on the clock to look at everything again, tweaking, expanding, shaving, coding...

...filling in them curvy curves a bit more more.

The REDmote Pro has an actual follow focus wheel on the back.
 
There's a follow focus? That's amazing!

I don't know if it'll perform better than a regular follow focus, but that's so great.

Was there any hint as to how much a PRO 'mote will cost?

What else does it do that the regular one doesn't?
