Good catch Lee.. the side CF module is not included in the brain price ( Just like the side CF module is not included in the RED ONE body price ) but I included it in the brain weigh-in last night by mistake... I guess that is one of those happy accidents
I apologize for that oversight.

Speaking of cables... I dont think we have shown you this one yet.. it converts the DSMC power lemo to the legacy RED ONE lemo so you can still use all your RED ONE power options.. and those big RED BRICKS power EPIC for a very, very long time![]()
Please excuse my extremely poor photoshop - attempting to illustrate what I'm trying to say:
EPIC is alive and shooting incredible images... actually, the best we have ever seen.

Have you switched to a push button CF eject mechanism, as opposed to just pulling it out. fnarr
Should reduce, one would hope, the probability of bet pins occurring.
Yes... It is now an eject mechanism with a push button. There is also another surprise With the side cf module you will see in a couple days![]()

Anything that starts with 64 or 128?![]()
More resolution, more dynamic range, better color than anything we have ever done. We wish you all could see what we are seeing.

Any indication of how quiet it will be? It's a cooler running camera, but assume there's still a fan.
I'm sure lessons have been learnt on cooling from the RED One and of course the Alexa's 20dB?
Just a thought - if the fan is in the brain, and of course all the metal casings will be acting as heatsinks - but if we are stacking the maximum number of modules possible on the back, is there a chance the last modules will be insufficiently cooled?
Or does each module come with a fan - that could be a noise issue?
Whatever - I'm still stoked!! :drool5: :emote_happyhappy:
