  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Pretty sure those are just power and data ports. I'd guess that the little one is for the REDMOTE and/or power, while the big one is for sending data to/from the modules.

Wow. That pic stunned me. So used to just hearing EPIC instead of seeing EPIC. So glad I'm going to RED Day this year. 5k 100fps has got to be insane.

Where will I find the money for stage 2?
 
I sincerely hope everyone at RED takes a few moments to pause from the pre-NAB rush to reflect on how FREEKIN AMAZING this is. I can't wait to hold it in my hand. Just incredible what you guys have done. Counting the seconds until Vegas!
 
Incredible. The size is astonishing! I wouldn't be complaining if that were Scarlet's form factor. But Epic....!!!!

Can't wait for more info. Perhaps even some footage! And here's hoping Tattoos are go right after NAB.

So Jarred, will there be a Epic Module that will stream h264 video to an iPad App? This would rock. Having both picture and audio to the iPad would be great for the director on set. Also when doing cranework...

So, let's guess. Tattoos start in late May. . . runs three months. . . Phase One starts in late July, maybe Phase Two by the end of the year?
