Here a small showreel with EPIC and the Canon still lenses. As the Scarlet has the same sensor,
I thought I could be of interest for you guys.

Certainly an amazing video Michael. Most Scarlet buyers just want to see the footage actually off a Scarlet I think.

Can't really see the point of shooting Epic if it's only going to be realsed online, with all the online compression it looks like fs100 meets 5D with twixor nothing really special , but the camera movements are pimp, but that's just what we seen no offense I am sure it looks way better in the big screen but if online is all your gonna do you overpaid for same quality look as other cams online =)IMO QUOTE=Michael Kromschroeder;864621]Here a small showreel with EPIC and the Canon still lenses. Michael,

great shots as we saw it already before and also Ketch was there too with one Leica-CS lens.

Could be interesting if you would get some old Leica-R lenses (maybe try to borrow them in Leica Shop München, Brienner Strasse 7, 80333 München) just to see difference between Canons and older Leicas R...

It was actually quite informative and helpful for us. Thanks Michael and Ketch.

Hi Michael

Many thanks to you and Ketch for posting, this is really very useful footage. Scarlet-X ordered with extra media and batteries, but as yet not ordered any lenses as using Nikons on my FS100.

Really great to see example footage.

Can't wait to move from AVCHD to RAW (not selling my FS100 as it does produce really great pictures not not in the same league as RAW)

Very helpful —*I appreciate it. Question, was any of the 24-70 or really any of the other stuff at the beginning shot at 30 (or a multiple thereof) rather than 24? Or with a shutter angle greater than 180°? The ducks/woman, etc... I was actually a little disappointed in how some of the opening stuff looked like video / DSLR to me. The later stuff seemed much more filmic, so trying to decide whether it was really that lens, or something else. I feel like I've had sharpness issues with the 24-70 and 5d's so that might explain it, thanks again for the list.

Great Stuff Michael. Do remember what compression ratios you used?

Kamal on Vimeo Michael says 2.8 IS II
