  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC Canon Footage - same sensor so could be of interest for you

Thanks! Beautiful images. Just wonering if I had to consider a crop factor on those same lenses at 4k.

There will be a difference, but it won't be huge until you frame down to 3K to get HDRX or higher FPS.
At 5k the factor is 1.3. A 35mm lens gives you 45mm. At 4K on Scarlet, you get a factor of 1.6. Your 35mm becomes 56mm.
Choke it down to 3K, and you get 2X. Your 35mm lens is now a 70mm.

You bought that Tokina zoom or a 10mm prime yet?

Which 2 out of these 3 would you recommend getting first? Purposes would be narrative and fashion photography.

Canon 24-70
Tokina 11-16
Canon 70-200

Mind you I'll eventually own all 3 but for now I'm just going to go for the 2.
