Same stuttering issue on my work PC as well (WinXP SP3, Intel E7400, 4GB ram). I tried using VLC v1.2 beta, and MPC-HC with ffdshow.
Either this clip is too heavy for my machine, or there's something wrong with the encode.

As I would be quick to blame Windows it seems to be inefficiency in the .mp4 codec and how well its being played with the current revision of decoders. Even on my 8 Core, 16GB Ram, Snow Leopard and $1.5k Quadro graphics is choking on it. SO DON'T FEEL BAD

But I did have a bit of fun with the first 140 frames rendered to PNG before error-ing. This is what happens when one is bored... Nothing to hot but then again I'm just some non-pro an a decent computer!! My dream is work in production and to be able to own one of these cameras!!
