Today I had the 5in LCD on the Epic go a weird full screen noisy green when I changed the aperture on a Canon lens (via the touchscreen) from 3.5 to 2.8. I then put it back to 3.5 and it showed some partial image but had the really bright noisy green in random parts. When I put it to f5.0 it all disappeared, then if I selected lower f-stops again it was ok. I have noticed a few other posts about Dragons having some green screens but it didn't seem to be related to an aperture change.
NOTE: The LCD wasn't mounted but leaning against the camera. It was fairly rigid and the cable was long enough.

Anyone else come across this before?

Nearly every red, green, blue LCD Touch screen that has occurred that I've seen is either due to the cable or the connector on the body being damaged.

Most of the time it's the cable and it's due to it being pinched hard when packed rather recklessly. Sometimes it's a pin.

Changing aperture is new to me.

The cable was probably being bent more than it normally would be when mounted properly so that may in fact be it as I haven't been able to replicate it. Just odd that it only did it when I changed aperture. I will keep trying to replicate it each time I use the camera but hopefully it was just the tight bend on the cable!
