  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ending of 23 - best PL mount?

Now that Komodo has been out for awhile and different companies have step in with their PL mount designs - the question I have is, anyone here using a PL mount on their Komodo? Which would be the best and cost factor. I have been looking at the Wooden Camera which is $550 but also seen much less expense ones on the market but are they any good?
 
Best is RED's by a considerable margin in terms of build quality and features. Different category all together in terms of materials and support for /i data. I have about a half dozen other ones. Wooden, Tilta, etc. I think the Breakthrough Filters straight mount is the lightest I have. Better if you are looking for something lighter weight and if price is a factor keeping you away from the RED.

Whatever you buy, get something that you can support rigidly. Shorter and smaller lenses are okay without that, but I'd recommend it long term whatever the case.
