Was the commercial was shot on RED, or the post was to showcase the ad? I know Chivo is definitely an Arri fan, as clearly shown on the ad

What I find most interesting is that he's a DP that has become a "celebrity" that can sell a product. I can't think of a DP that has made it into that realm before... But I guess 3 Oscars in a row for best cinematography might help!

Well I would be interested in Chivo´s work even if he choose to shoot on a ikegami eng style camera ;-)
