  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We would certainly go to St. Petersburg to buy directly.
Its not to far from Berlin and many people here speak Russian.
Flights are usually ~100-250€ for berlin-petersburg-berlin.

We are considering adding some elites to our gear this summer, if someone from the US wants to benefit from this just let us know.

p.s.
not exactly an excellent way of doing business from s.m. inc.

I will go to petersburg in next month.I'm polish . I think i could help sombody who need it but i'm sure it wont be at this rate listed on the webside. It is for all EU, why? simple. We have duty and VAT. So price is like that : 5000E + duty+VAT.
If i would sell it to US , no VAT but another duty will be paid by u side.
I think is complicated for US citizens. Same with Red for UE members:(( It cost us more becouse of duty and VAT . Vat in Poland 22%:(
Anyway. I have some expirience with russian optics becouse in far comunism time it was only optic u could get. They where great but unstable. U could get very good glass, as good as zaiss, but secoundary could be very bad, even if it was the same "model"
I hope it is changed now as it looks like only one reasonable solution for RED.
I will buy it for sure . I trust in russians, they are great in optic. Hope that become stable in mechanics...
 
I was in contact with them. Very nice and very fast answer. The Elite s35mm digital they sell only as full set (18,24,35,50,75,100mm). Actually they have available 3 lenses of the set: 18mm, 24mm and 50mm. If you buy directly in St.Petersburg they are not able to draw up official documents for the custom.

I think it's time to revive this thread!

Any test footage and stills available? Charts, flare and CA tests, etc?
It's hard to find anything through Google on any reviews.

I would like to hear some more real world experience. I'm thinking of going Ultra Primes but these Elite's still intrigue me a little.

me too norm, yes please info on these lenses please. I am in for the bulk purchase if we can hit a dollar to euro deal.
