  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Element EVF Mount

The EVF mount has been on my shopping list since LART.

Those new CF rods look interesting. Are they solid or filled in some way? Or do they just have some sort of end cap? Are they still likely to splinter or even explode as the older ones (and most others) can?

Is anyone using the ET EVF mount in conjunction with the ET Cheeseplate?

Great mount, but I need the EVF before I can use it. So, will any one from Red tell us when they will be delivered.

Is there a mount point for a red arm?

(to maybe attach the LCD in a hand held configuration)

I heard a firm date of SOON had be written in pen on the books.

Jarred
I just ordered the CF Rods in 12", 18", and 24"..

Don't tell Jim.. He hates CF and I don't want to get spanked two times in as many days.

I LOVE these carbon fiber rods... I just had to warn people that the originals could shatter. Nothing beats the look and weight of carbon fiber... and the smell of nitromethane in the morning.

Hm, how do you extend the viewfinder far enough away from the camera to use your left eye?

Does that mean the CF rods on sale aren't "the originals," and aren't at risk of shattering? I'm interested in getting them but afraid of them shattering.

Will Red make their carbon fiber rods in 15mm as well?

RED gets all the toys. EVFs and pimped out ET mounts. My ET mount fixed side to side action-- not an adjustable one like on jarred's pics ???

F@*K a Duck...

that's a nice piece of kit (changes knickers).

I hope the eyepiece is friction fitted on the rotation plane.
I do love to rock and roll the handheld shoulder-to-low cradle...

Great news about CF Rods.
GibCore et al will be exhaling about now.
