Just curious of peoples experience using El Capitan on older Mac Pros (I have a 5,2 with 48gb Ram and an unlashed GTX780). Is it worth upgrading if your using Premiere CC, Resolve or RCX?

I've observed no problems whatsoever with RCX and Resolve on El Capitan. Premiere CC is a whole other story, which you can read about on the Adobe Premiere Forum. 10.11 basically made GPU rendering unusable. 10.11.1 fixed it for me and for many, but Adobe is very much advising against going forward with El Capitan at this time. 10.11.2 is right around the corner, but I wouldn't trust Premiere CC until Adobe makes a new release themselves--I think the problem is much deeper than just the interaction with the OS.
