I'm looking into buying my first easyrig this week. I'm set on the vario 5 but I'm not sure which vest to get. I operate mostly on reality shows. Would the gimbal vest introduce a lot movement into my shots since it sits lower on the hips? I like the cinema vest but I find i still get a bit of lower back strain on long days. does anyone have experience with both that can share their opinion?

I love the gimbal vest. You will get hotter due to the bigger/thicker/wider belt but it's more comfortable and does a better job of putting the weight on your hips

We used the easy rigs alot always hated them felt trapped in it. got the tilta armor man 2 and for gimbals that is uncompareable to easyrig. And price is about the same.

I think he was just asking about the type of vest options for the easy rig. the gimbal vest has a larger belt and more padding = more comfertable.

doesnt mean u need to use it with a gimbal at all

Yes, I absolutely recommending trying out the Tilta Armor-Man as well!! I've tried both, and like the Tilta Armor-Man more. But there certainly are shooting situations where an easyrig would make more sense instead.
