  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dynacore Mini series battery for Red

Just received our minis and noticed that there's another label under the main product label which says 70wh instead of claimed 155wh. Is this smaller capacity label only for shipping purposes?

Also can confirm that you can run an epic dragon from the d-tap out.

yes, it's only for shipping~

Only for shipping. Mine says 88. The outer label is can be take of and reattached, if you should wish to cheat when flying with the batteries. This would be illegal of cause.

I had ordered two 95w from http://www.dynabatteries.com/ and had heard nothing. Finally called today after needing them for a job in a few days - they said the shipping label had been damaged and the box returned to them! That was over a week ago. None of this had been communicated to me and no attempt to re ship had been made. I was even asked if I still wanted the batteries?! Finally after explaining yes I did want the batteries and demanding a solution they have apparently over nighted them. Waiting to see if anything actually arrives or not. Pretty disgusted.

I did however buy the 155W Dynacores off Ari Morales from Omega Broadcast and they were awesome - fast and prompt service. Highly reccomend them. I only didnt buy the 95s because they didnt have any in stock and needed them asap.

Ordered 2 from Geartek in the UK on the 12th. Not received anything or shipping notification yet. Sent a chasing email so will report back.

Hi Mr. Ben Scott

we will contact with Geartek.

Guys finally got my batteries from dynabatteries.com . I think there is currently a war between the china reseller and this usa break off. The China Seller confirmed the serials of my batteries from dynabatteries.com to be real proper batteries. The rep from Dynabatteries made sure my batteries were ready to go for the shoot and were super helpful in correcting their mistake....after I called them a week later to chase it up.

I wont recommend either because both companies are name calling each other and honestly creating a ton of confusion for the customer. I will recommend Omega Broadcast however and say you can fully trust them as they have been great the whole way. If you want dynacores buy from them.

Clearly something has happened between china and the old usa reseller but I dont think that effects the batteries. Mine are working great and hoping for a great life out of them. They are an epic size!

Big shout out to Ari from Omega for all his help.

so is there a dyna battery that reds time remaining to RED?

You guys were great. Going to keep the batteries and grab a charger back home. Thanks again for testing that out.

Dynacore will launch a new model mini battery with LCD soon, keep the small size and lightweight, but equip with LCD and USB output.

Nice, will it show running time on red cameras?

Hey Tyler, I got a personal email about a month or so ago that the newer batteries that offered time remaining readout were done and shipping. I would hope that these ones with the LCD screens also retain that spec.
