Dude Sony is so stealing from RED's look/feel

[Neil Dearman]

Take a look at this!!! I hate when companies just steal from others. http://www.eoshd.com/content/10004/...re-camera-range-based-around-full-frame-dslrs

Sorry to disappoint but not everyone around here wears flip-flops and does silly, elaborate 17 year old handshakes.

[Neil Dearman]

I am 27 from woodstock GA, I wear cowboy Boots, not flip flops

[Michael Ou]

It looks like they really "cut corners" on this design, lol. I couldn't resist.

[Neil Dearman]

That so looks like a RED One, heck even the lenses look like RED Lenses

[Matt Gottshalk]

That so looks like a RED One, heck even the lenses look like RED Lenses

Except you'll be able to actually buy them.

[Jon MIchael Puntervold]

Wow, pretty reassuring for RED that competitors are trying to mimic their radical designs...

Except you'll be able to actually buy them.

I actually own a Red One, and I can't say the resemblance jumped out at me.

[Shane Kelly]

oh look, it's a black box with a lens mount on it. That's so radical! And a lens! with markings on it!
Come on guys.

[Jake Bastian]

This camera has a lens mount! And 1/4-20 holes! And it's black and shaped like a camera!!!

DESIGN THEFT!!!

[Spencer Caesare]

it looks awfully un-ergonomic unless you have a grip of some sort. Although, you could say that about the Epic if it didn't have the battery grip attached.

[Pablo Moreno]

Don't you think that if someone is going to design a camera, the most natural and logical way to do it is with a rectangular box?, common now!.

But, if that, is your definition of pretty, I think this is pretty..

Dude, chill..

[Clayton Burkhart]

I think this one looks better. The guys over at DVXuser say it has a slightly better LCD and has dual SSD slots as well.

I am probably considerably older than you and I find your comments insulting...

[Owen Rennie]

Yeh leave him alone. Nothing wrong with dude!

[Kwan Khan]

Dudeism (lol)

At nab a Sony rep was using the phrase "future proof", reminded me of Ted's exact words a couple years back.
