So who makes that dual battery adapter for V-mount that I saw at Cinegear. Sim video, I think Element Technica and others had it but they didn't manufacture it. It's T shaped, mounts into your existing V-mount plate and has two spots for brick batteries, plus a proper D-tap slot.

I want one.

I just got mine from Batteries4Broadcast. It was on backorder for the longest time, but It's solid piece of kit.

Can you still get battery info to camera from the red bricks through it?

I am hoping since the plate is "dumb" and the batteries are the ones that are "smart", that this B4B plate shouldn't affect the Red battery functions.

Red, what do you say???

SIM's is from either Swit or Switronix (two different companies, and I'm not sure which one SIM is using for this piece. I do know that SIM likes Swit batteries, so I'm thinking its from Swit).

I'm customizing mine to carry data from ONE of the batteries. So at least I have a clue as to what is going on.

And I still get battery countdown info Brian?

Brian, estimataing this is without the battery plates ? I know you already solved the mystery battery info problem (the magnet) but will this adapter be with or without battery plates or do you have to use the Red battery plates? What outputs are extra ?

Thanks

Mick
