Hi redusers!

Has anyone trying to compare DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0 VS Small HD Cine 7 with Red Control?
I need to decide which would be more suitable for a V-Raptor handheld and Ronin 2 setups.
Cine 7 seems to me a more flexible solution.
But we need the ability to quickly change the electronically controlled aperture of Zeiss Milvus lenses.
Is its camera control interface working fast?

I personally think the Touch works "better". Faster, more integrated. You'll need a longer RMI cable when rigging it elsewhere.

SDI is a known quantity and you will need to power and deliver data separately with the Cine 7. Plus the license and all that.

Moderately see pros and cons to both. The RMI cable is a very new thing, but I've remained open minded about it. I'm about 2-3 months in and it's been fine for me.

This is coming from somebody who owns both btw. Picked up the Cine 7 for Komodo, it's now graduated to my client kit mainly.

I'm also interested. I like the monitor but think the RMI mount is really badly done. The Cine 7 I haven't tried with RED license but if its within the same ballpark in terms of control and response I think I'd prefer it. That being said, Cine 7 QC isn't good - hopefully red at least check the DSMC3 monitor before it goes out.
