DSMC3 5'' Monitor?? no camera control

I would like to see how many people would like the idea of a 5'' MONITOR on a Komodo X or Raptor X. Simple, no touchscreen, no control, just image. Matte screen? Cheap.

I'm using all the time the user screen on komodos (and side buttons) )so never use any touchscreen since there is already one on the camera body!! I always thought the idea of touchscreen contron montior was not improving anything and paying for something already got, and seeing my fingerprints onto the screen is annoying.. and 7 inch is too big for run and gun in my opinion.

If there is interest, maybe we can ask for it? since smallhd already have 5'' monitors, wouldn't be so hard right?

I own the SmallHD Cine 5" and use it with my Komodo X often. I don't miss having touchscreen control. However, what would be the point of a "DSMC3 5" monitor" with no control-- why wouldn't you just buy the SmallHD (or competing options from TV Logic, Portkeys, etc.)? Is it about sending power + signal over single cable?

Exactly! Like in DSMC2, monitor with no cables. And since Red/SmallHd already have a 7'' monitor, I'm sure it won't be much effort to make a 5'' version. I'm saying no control to make it cheaper. Or maybe a paid OS upgrade for someone who wants to add camera control.
The 7'' monitor costs almost the same as an OG KOMODO with this new price!!
