I sometimes mount a Tascam dr70D on the right side.
I have change my right sideplate to one wtih mounting holes.Powering it from camera and
sends sound to camera from recorder.Great option to then record sound both in recorder and camera.
Also Tascam dr7d has timecode in so I sync kamera and recorder with Tentacle.
Wireless reciver is velcro'd to the recorder so no worries.

I'm 95% sure you mean the DR701D, not the DR70D (which lacks TC) or DR7D (which doesn't exist)

That`s correct David, the Tuscan DT701D it is.
