What are these dots on the bottom of the side handle for? I can't seem to find any info!

If it's not for diagnostic, it's for something which had been planned like the flash sync port on the handle... But honestly: no clue. Only RED can tell

Im not sure but I think those are from the early days when there where picutures of epic with a battery pack sitting underneath the camera.
