Drive Connector LEMO to eSATA cable?

[Jay Silver]

Hey, just wondering if anyone has a "drive connector lemo to eSATA cable out there...would help a lot with downloading from the big drive...

Not sure if I missed it in the forum, but I did a search and couldn't find anything...

I have one of these I use with my MB Pro laptop via a eSata port xpress card adapter. It works wonders and it's mad how fast you download your drive to your computer or backup drives. It's like 10 times faster!...

A must have in the top ten accessory list!

Which esata xpress card are you using ? I had with the sonnet one not much luck....

I think it's a DeLock or something, double slot (2 eSata plugs)... I'm on holiday far from my gear but I'll post the model references as I come back. Mine really does work well, considering the terrible pluging feel of an eSata plug...

Are you using the "pro" version though? The pro version is optimized for "true" esata out/input

Could someone give some actual times of Lomo V Firewire800--Lewis, do you literally mean 10 times faster?

Also, can you import footage via the Lomo cable and SIMULTANEOUSLY import another drive via FW800? Last time I tried this test using FW800 on one drive and USB on a second drive, it shat itself....
