  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon...

You know they will update the firmware on everything, dragon included.

So no potential firmware change to add even more with the new sensor? Just thought the new sensor might be able to allow more than +6. Still awesome though.

Sorry guys but I must click 'Like' :)

Dragon sensors not ready until the end of this year.

Good. That will give me plenty of time to dig 6k worth of ditches.

15 stops of dynamic range with more in HDRx opens up so much more... Can't wait to save for the Epic or upgrade our Scarlet. Red delivers.
Leaving every other major manufacturer to scratch their heads, and cast dispersions. I'm really looking forward to end of 2012 and 2013.

Scarlet upgrades won't begin until 2013. 1st EPIC upgrades begin end of this year.

Only RED gives us Christmas announcements in April!!! Never in the history of the art has its tools and its processes become a source of grand inspiration, as evidenced by the goosebumps I get each time a new announcement is made. Perhaps its because our possibilities to create are no longer limited by tools of yesteryear and monstrous financial models. The fact that Red is exceeding our expectations and firing up our imaginations to unimagined possibilities as to what we can create with these tools is true cause to rejoice! It will be a very good year and an even better Holiday!!! Merry Christmas to us ALL!!!!

yehaaaaaaaaaa DRAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN

THANKS
RED TEAM :)))))))

Any chance we will see a "DragonFF" sensor with FF35 aspect ratio (30mmx20mm)!? That extra height would be gold for all VFX/ANA work :) I m willing to throw in a extra grand or two for that option :)

Actually... Red is the color of life. The color of passion. Aggression. War.

Jim

It's also the color of blood and Canon's new balance sheet! Between Red's and Nikon's new products, Canon is having their ass kicked bad/good! :emote_headwall:
