I'm no expert, but I did see this Wikipedia page that says the human eye is capable of ~20 stops

Only RED gives us Christmas announcements in April!!! Never in the history of the art has its tools and its processes become a source of grand inspiration, as evidenced by the goosebumps I get each time a new announcement is made. Perhaps its because our possibilities to create are no longer limited by tools of yesteryear and monstrous financial models. That is debatable. Your eye moves around, and the iris opens and closes. That range is not all at once.

If you own a Scarlet, might be a bit more than 6K. Not sure how much more.

Any chance we will see a "DragonFF" sensor with FF35 aspect ratio (30mmx20mm)!? That extra height would be gold for all VFX/ANA work I m willing to throw in a extra grand or two for that option
