The other day I ran into some issues with my Red Epic Dragon. Firstly I noticed my touch monitor seemed to have a mind of its own. It seemed to be turning its exposure toggle on and off all by itself for about 1 minute and then then the screen started to get blue lines through it. I then powered the camera off and then tried to turn it back on. When I powered it back on the camera displayed "Serious error, shutdown”. I then shut off the camera and put it back in its case. I let the camera sit for a few days and then got it back out to try power it on. When it powered on it seemed to work fine. I could control the camera with the touch screen and eject the REDMAG which was in the camera. I even put a lens on and could change the aperture but then the screen started to get the same blue lines again so I decided to power the camera off. I then powered the camera back on a couple of days later and ran into this issue. The camera begins the start-up fans into full force and the side light turns yellow. This is normal but the camera seems to get stuck in this start-up stage and then won’t fully turn on and nothing will display on the monitor. I've attached a video of the current problem.
I've tried powering the camera in many different ways but get the same result each time. I used Redvolts, a range of vmount batteries with different Vmount plates as well as an AC power supply. I've also tested this with different monitors and cables but get the same outcome. I have noticed though when I first click the power button the monitor seems to flash a small amount of brightness but then go back to being fully black.
Also here is a dropbox link to a video of the issue as the attachment function on this webpage doesn't seem to work. https://www.dropbox.com/s/s7g5aeyd3isg05v/Red Epci Dragon start up issue.MOV?dl=0
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Hunter.
