I am still confused regarding NTSC, so there is video format option on screen shot. So I should indicate NTSC or leave 1920X1080 HD?

Also video format is MPEG-2, is it good? I am testing colors on big screen in theater yesterday so I need to know the best format and settings what to indicate

thanks

I have no IDEA what to indicate on this tab, please see attachment

How did you get there? I told you to export straight to Blu-ray from FCP.

I had my head so full of many options so I forgot this option at all :)

Just quick question my blue ray disc is 25GB, so FCP burner will automatically fill 25 GB and compress movie to be under 25GB or it may create 5-6 GB?

FCP will not do this compressor is doing the work.
If your BD disc is not RW then it will do a write once to the 25gb .
So if your final project is only 10 gigs thats what it will write to disc.

You can also use Encore CS5 and Toast 10 to write BD discs.

I am not sure I figured out your point

My project is 200 GB and It is feature movie I must write on BD, so compressor or toast or any program doing burning will automatically adjust 300 GB to 25 GB or it may be 5 GB only. For example I burnt yesterday 5 minutes video and it took only 300 MB, originaly it was 10 GB, so there was plenty space but it only took 300MB, I need maximally to utilize blue ray disc space to write as good quality as possible

I am confused now FCP really has option write on BD, old version does not but latest does so compressor or FCP?

Any one can help

I am compressing blue ray disc. When I choose blue ray from new batch template it originally puts H.264 format see image. If I change format to MPEG-2 and submit i get error 3X crash service down. If I leave H.264 it compresses

So is not MPEG-2 best choice?

H.264 is perfect for Blu-ray.

thanks I spoiled 3 blue rays

I am doing render again because original resolution of movie which I wanted to record on blue ray was 2048X1152, blue ray supports 1920X1080, so I waste time, it is midnight but until I have perfect blue ray disc i won't go, i am almost wild

You'll do fine in 1080
(Don't tell Jim I said so, though... :-))

I do not know what happens really

I use compressor 3.5 create blue ray option, but I got error movie looks likes this

it does not open though it is 1.1gb and I got message in compressor that render went OK, it is not recorded on blue ray yet it is in computer but shouldn't it play?

if you edited on FCP export to a blu-ray ready file I sugest H.264 codec then import that into Adobe Encore. author away as you would a DVD and Burn. if you had edited on PR no need to export from it, to author. but it takes a LONG time to render. One thing you have to take into account is that the blu-rays from Compressor are not playable everywhere I have also heard that you cannot make copies of it.

I do not have blue ray burner, I should do it from compressor.

uhm you main post says "Doing blue ray disc-quick question"
but you do not have a drive. so perhaps what you meat to say you want to build a disc image? just remember that apple does not support blu-ray playback nor authoring of any sort on OSX.

I have of course hardware

I do not have blue ray plugin for titanium which is burner.

But I can do it from compressor which I am doing right now (rendering again in color now to make 1920X1080)

Please check my image I started compressing, so everything seems OK, I indicated in destination blue ray disc, where it should burn, SO Is it correct?
