Hi guys i found a used red one mx ready to shoot for 3500 got it down to 3100 with shipping Fellow i am buying from his name is Peter denver i found the camera was located in Quebec Canada and its now in Ireland Dublin i believe he was shooting in Quebec that is why he posted the camera on Quebec selling and buying website that's is where i found it I been going back and forth with his asking question and some time it takes him few days to answer man is probably busy and i understand that. I have minimum wage job supporting family but trying to make something of my self learning cinematography and camera and 3100 is lots of money for me took me 4 year to save but anyhow. I will post emails from our conversations and can you tell me if you see any red flags.

Peter- This is an original Red One MX camera with a total 86 hours on it. The camera has been upgraded to Mysterium X sensor (April 10, 2012) by Red. Also upgraded is the CPU/IO main board. The EVF and LCD were also sent back to Red at the same time for inspection and evaluation to ensure they work flawlessly with the MX sensor and the main board. Both EVF and LCD are in pristine condition. The camera also had the sound board replacement by Red in 2010. The camera kit is in excellent cosmetic condition. Lot of accessories.

Hello,i confirm the camera comes with PL mount and the photos that i have sent you can confirm it's excellent condition. I have found a company that handles delivery and payment. The delivery company that I have discussed with, has a very strict policy for international transactions because everything must go smooth. After I give them the package, they send you the invoice and your tracking number so you can check the location of your package. After that, you have to make the payment to them as a warranty. If the payment is not received, the package does not move. After you receive the package, you have 5 days to inspect it but, I believe you can do it faster. When you confirm that everything is ok then, they transfer the money to my account. If you are not satisfied then they will transfer the money back to you. This is very easy and also the safest for both of us. Other way I won't accept. If you are interested then send me your details and I will arrange the delivery. Thanks.

Dino .. definitely a few Red flags.. no pun intended.. Price seems low, maybe too low. If its too good to be true often it is. With that few hours he must be the original owner. Can he send you a copy his original invoice. In all likelihood the camera would have come into Canada on a Carnet. He should have some documentation to back up his claims. Also suggest you want him to send the camera to Red for proper ownership transfer. If he balks at that it might indicate he is not legit. Have you googled him, Facebook, twitter etc? Good luck. Hate to see anyone get scammed.

Hi Peter just to be safe on my side can you send me the picture of a serial number of the camera so i can check with RED. Since camera was in Canada and now is in Ireland can you send me the copy of Carnet some documentation and can you send the camera to Red for proper ownership transfer i will pay for it.

Just curious, 3100 USD seems very low. If I understand it correctly he has the camera in Dublin. Where is it shipping to, the US? Just to ship it to the us is quite costly. I would estimate the whole package to 20kg, and I would guess normal Fedex shipping would be about 1500USD alone. To ship it with some sort of safe shipping would, I assume even cost more... So it seems like he is not making much out of the deal, or it´s a scam....

Camera was in Canada he posted it on here shipped back to Ireland since company that he works for ask him to go back (http://www.kijiji.ca/v-appareil-pho...mx/1053135240?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true) but when i do map street view its all houses nothing business locations or downtown locations its like it was selected random. And another red flag is i asked him 4 time if it is pl or Nikon mount which is not in his original description but until i motioned pl or Nikon mount he replayed pl mount its like he did not even know what mount is. I Have felling its a African scam crap i just wanted to see what you guys think. But lets see what hes reply is . But yeah deal is off i am going to look for one here

PS this ownership transfer is camera actually shipped to red then i pick it up.

FAKE AFRICAN SCAM I made new fake email ask him if it is ABC bomb reversal mount (fake) and he said yes it is. So i send him a nice picture of a big huge COOCK
