  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How did you do the scenes with the strobe lights, i could´t really go through the video frame by frame but it seems there are no rolling shutter artifacts in it.
Did you sync the strobes or is the Epic sensor fast enough that thats no problem any longer ?

I didn't sync the strobes although I was planning to before shooting as I was a bit worried about that with all the crazy strobbing that we were planning to do. On the LCD's, I couldn't see any problems like I did with the MX's before, so I just left it at that and kept shooting :) Maybe the strobes were already synced from another EPIC job rental previously. I shot at many different framerates but mainly kept everything at 180deg shutter.

and yes its very 80's,

the song and feel of the clip is when funk music started to turn into house music, which was one of my favourite times in my life.
Brought back a lot of memories.

I love music video, I work in music video, I love dance music and electronic and I work on videos in various capacities for that genre.

Sorry but, I feel this looks like an incomprehensible mishmash of nothing with no real thought behind it, maybe why it is getting so few hits despite being a from big name artist - no one is emailing it to each other.

I hate to be so brutal, and I often give real kudos in this section of Reduser, but the whole thing just looks lazy - and I would work SO HARD for an artist like this. I work way harder for much smaller acts - as do many of my friends - so it actually offended me to watch this video.

The song is awesome.
