If you were at NAB 2017 you already know about this project, but I've just released the teaser trailer for Dispatcher.

This was a 15 minute short proof of concept film that I am now using to pitch to various entities.

Filming and post was executed in less than 1 week as I was desperately racing to finish it for NAB screenings, delivered in 8K and 4K w/ an additional 4K DCP.
That was a challenge as it was a 3 day shoot w/ about 2 days post w/ grade, dialogue, foley, score, and light VFX work.

Shot on RED Weapon Dragon 8K VV w/ Tokina Cinema Vista Primes. 25, 35, 50, and 85mm. Shot most of the built sets at T5, warehouse stuff was wide open or pretty damn close to it.

I've got a couple of smaller shoots left this year, but pretty much all my free time at this point is developing this further for pitching.

Wish me luck. Cross everything you got.

Thank you guys. It's going to be exciting to see how this fairs once the real pitching starts.

Very cool Phil! Always fun to see what you are working on.

I know this is early stages, but I am curious about the look. It feels heavily LUTed. Is the look part of the story? Just curious how you arrived at that look.

Also, how did you find the Tokinas performed for you? Are you happy with them?

looks great but maybe too clean and shiney at this stage, it needs heart and soul, keep at it.

Best of luck Phil! :)
