  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I ordered a flare guard yesterday as a temporary fix, but due to Red's permanent fix they have discontinued the flare guard and are no longer selling them. Does anyone have another temporary solution? I know the way Red works and even though my Epic is in queue for the OLPF solution, that could take months.
 
Peter, contact olpf@red.com or your Bomb Squad Rep and they'll get one to you for free. (Unless something has drastically changed)

The Flare Gyard was in my hands after 4 days since the email was sent.
 
Right, I'm pretty sure that I'm done with this, as RED has their solution and it's free.

Our OLPF Port Bushing solution is just as easy to remove as it is to install.

Yes I emailed olpf@red.com the morning after it was posted. I haven't received any notification by email or otherwise so I was assuming it would take a while similar to most new Red products. Should I have heard back already?

If the olpf solution from Red will take a while I want something else in the meantime.

Is this applicable to the scarlets?
 
Red excelled in fixing this issue. Ours were delivered and installed in 5 days for sending the email.

I have to agree with that. Providing a simple to install solution for free and fairly quickly. Big ups.
