Hey all,

I had a 7D for many years that I would use for my location/tech scouting as well as a viewfinder while on set (Framing up shots before hand).
It has just died.... :( R.I.P.

So i'm looking for a replacement ASP-C camera. I've got a bunch of cannon glass so an EF mount is ideal. Unless there is some camera that can shoot in different modes? What do you guys use? Any recommendation?

Also, WiFi would be nice. I've used my 60D on set and sent stills to an iPad to show the client but was always doing the math in my head w/ that full frame sensor.

Thanks guys!

Also, I hope this is the correct section. If not my apologies.

-Thanks,

iPhone plus Artemis app?

or CineScope app?

Canon cameras have fallen so so far behind that I wouldn't recommend one. Just use a Canon EF mount adapter instead.

The popular Fuji X-T3 which has been mentioned a few times already is a FANTASTIC choice, can often be used as a B cam if you wish.

The Fujifilm X-T30 which is even cheaper is worth a look as well, has a few minor downsides (like no internal 10bit) but as a director's viewfinder it would perform very much the same as the X-T3.

Sony A6300/6400/6500 would be my choice but the Fuji is also a great camera. If you're looking fro dual use all the A7 series FF cams can be set into an APS-C/S35 mode.
Personally I use my Leica M10 because I like the rangefinder and frame lines but that's obviously not an "affordable" option.
