Has anyone addressed how big the deposit will be for the Scarlet? I'm assuming 10% of the final cost? Also, what about accessories? Assuming they back-order immediately, do they usually ask you to pay for the prices up front, or just a deposit for the accessories, too?

A question to add to this - well, more of a confirmation - in a thread I heard that usually (epic, one) you place a deposit and that puts you in the queue for the camera. Then you're contacted when it's ready, and you complete payment. Is this correct info? Or is it possible to pay it all on the spot?

So mysterious! It's hard to be prepared for the 3rd when you don't know even basic stuff like that.

I think it will depend on the situation. I'm sure like some lenses you'll be able to do both. Some items you can pay 10% or outright pay for it.

Some have already loaded there RED accounts with money to be ready for the 3rd. It's hard to know what it will cost. But you can guess as close as possible. I'm sure that they'll take a deposit and allow for the remaining amount to be wired within 10 days. It takes 3-4 days to wire your money into the account.

We've been saying that for months. Whats going to be really fun is to see if it's a mad rush tomorrow. I think it will go one way or the other. I think it will either be an all out mad dash (refreshing) to the store, or people will sit back and think about there options and wait a couple days. I think the mad dash is most likely.
